These are my pictures from the vintage races at Road America a week ago. This was my fourth year attending and it’s always a fun event.

On Friday night there’s a race car parade through town.

Ford MKIV (not a real one) crash. This was Saturday during the Can Am qualifying race. I was standing at the fence in front of the Hurry Downs cafe. Focus isn’t great since I wasn’t ready.

There’s always cool stuff downtown. Besides the race cars on Friday night there is a street car concours on Saturday.

“Is the car show done yet?”

This is a local car for me from Eau Claire. It was very surprising seeing it there.

“Would you like to hear the horn?”

Which one would you take?

It rained Sunday morning, but fortunately I brought a umbrella.

Hahaha, I know those two dogs! They are legit track dogs, their owners autox all the time and they are at RA every race weekend. Amazingly well behaved.

I still give the name change sideeye. BRICK or Hawk or nothing.
